Best Practice Project

The San Diego Business Roundtable for Education, made up of 123 local businesses, coordinates the Best Practices Project. This program shares quality educational practices with business leaders, educators, and the community.

Best Practice Selection

Earlier in the year, multiple teams of business and community leaders visited schools to select those programs that they considered to be “exemplary” and the “most innovative practices utilized in San Diego’s County K-8 schools.” The Brain Highways program was selected as one of this year’s Business Roundtable for Education Best Practices

Best Practice Showcase

Members of the educational and business community were invited to learn more about each Best Practice at the Showcase event held at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center on April 23.

Best Practice Publication

The Business Roundtable for Education plans to disseminate the Best Practices Publication in the fall. This book will be distributed to county schools, district education offices, business and education leaders, chambers of commerce, and state and federal legislators. As a 2003 Best Practice, the Brain Highways program will be included in this publication.
