Changes With 12 Hours

Half-way into our pons session, we ask parents to write what changes they’ve observed since their child first started the program. At this point, kids have completed 12 hours of lower brain development work.

In general, parents use qualifying words such as more (of a desired behavior) and less (of an undesired behavior) during this stage of the program. Such modifiers reflect that change is in process, rather than complete.

Later, when more of the brain has become organized, parents’ observations include many more changes, and they describe them in more definitive terms (e.g. completes homework independently).

Click on each category below to read a sampling of the parents’ responses. These exact quotes reflect typical answers from more than 4,000 pons questionnaires that we have collected at this 12-hour marker. Note that responses among individual participants with the same number of lower brain work hours may vary as children begin the program at different levels of development.
