Programs
For families who live near or in San Diego County, we offer our core program at the Brain Highways Center. Filled with sensory-rich apparatus and materials, this 2,000-square-foot facility is often referred to as the “Disneyland” of brain labs. It’s the place where the Brain Highways staff teams with parents to lead their children in entertaining activities focusing on whole brain organization.
Once kids have completed the core program, they can opt to participate in enrichment classes and camps. These programs combine Brain Highways techniques with original math, science, and writing curriculums. We also periodically offer teen and adult classes.
For those outside San Diego County, we offer two different ways to benefit from the same core curriculum. In the Intensive Program, out-of-town families come to San Diego and participate in a rigorous schedule to acquire much of the core curriculum in just ten days. In the online program, families acquire the information via videos, podcasts, handouts, and the Brain Highways discussion forum.
In each of our formats, the program is as fun as it is informative. In addition to helping kids improve their focus, learning, and behavior, the curriculum is equally rich in ways to become a “cortex parent” (parenting with the best part of the brain). With such knowledge, moms and dads apply how the brain works in order to parent in new, innovative ways.
