What happens at a post-grad party?
The first part of the party is similar to a Drop-in, where kids rotate to different parts of the room to use different BH apparatus and to play with BH games and toys.
During the second half, we celebrate with popcorn and sparkling water and do a "circle time" whereupon participants share new changes and receive acknowledgment for their hard work.

Why do we host post-grad parties?
1) To motivate participants to continue (more-or-less) with the same floor time schedule after completing the midbrain course
2) To remind kids that they're not the only ones still creeping and crawling
3) To provide an opportunity for prior participants to see each other again, use our apparatus, and to share new changes (where we all applaud)
4) To confirm that a child is truly "done" with creeping or crawling

Who can come to a post-grad party?
Kids must complete 30 hours of floor time past their last midbrain class in order to get a "ticket" to the party.  Kids can also come to a post-grad party if they have met all the criteria for being "done" with creeping or crawling (i.e. the creep or crawl pattern has fully evolved and your child has demonstrated that he is using the functions that come with such development). In such case, we'll do one final assessment and then celebrate!  However, please make sure that you have referred to previous handouts (that were given during the courses that spell out such criteria in detail) to avoid disappointment (e.g. turns out that your child's creep or crawl does not really reflect the fully evolved pattern.)

Can siblings (who were not in the program) come to post-grad parties?
No. Please make childcare arrangements for siblings.

Will you do a creeping and crawling assessment of each child at the post-grad party?
We will only do an assessment of those kids whose parents believe are "done" with either the creeping or crawling.

What is the cost of a post-grad party?
There is no charge for this party. We offer these to honor prior participants' continued commitment to completing their brain development.

How do I make a reservation for a post-grad party?
